How the fee and reverse calculation work
The standard rate used here is 2.9% + 30¢ per successful domestic card transaction, as shown on Stripe's official pricing page, checked . Fees are estimated as round(charge × percentage to the nearest cent) + fixed fee, once per transaction. Net = charge − fee.
Example: on a $100 charge, the estimated fee is $3.20 and the net is $96.80. Ten separate $100 charges incur an estimated $32.00 in total fees. To receive at least $100 from one charge at the same rate, the smallest cent amount is $103.30.
